I was traveling to Flagstaff Arizona for an Art Show with a stop in Las Vegas. This photo was taken at 18,000 feet while descending into Maccarran Airport using my smartphone. I believe it is the Colorado River. A Geologist I met at the art show thought it was the Great Colorado so I'll take her word on it.
