Aye-Aye

The elusive and endangered Aye-Aye feasting at night on a coconut in the Palmarium Reserve in eastern Madagascar. The island is only accessible by boat on a remote channel on the eastern coast of Madagascar. This is a uniquely adapted lemur with their third and fourth fingers elongated and skinny, making them highly specialized to help them pick their food from small openings. Their strong rodent-like teeth allow them to chew through hard surfaces quickly.
