#Ayotzinapa
The "43 students of Ayotzinapa" have marked our lives as Mexicans. Murdered by the State on september 2014, have shown the world and ourselves, that we have a corrupt government, but also, and more important, they’ve raised us up from the numbness and actively seek for solutions as a community. For me there is no more a representative image of Mexican art as "Woman with Calla Lilies" by Diego Rivera, inspired by this work, I wanted to show how we as Mexicans are marked by the "43", but this time, with clenched fists, Mexico is desperately seeking for a honest and fair government, one which we all deserve.
