This photo was taken on the sidelines of the Harna Nomad Festival. The Harna Festival, a cultural and sports festival of the Qareh Qiyeh nomads in Kalibar County, is held every year in May to celebrate the spring migration of the Kalibar nomads. The festival has both cultural and sports sections. In the sports section, events include horseback riding, archery on horseback, arm wrestling, beach volleyball, wood pulling, tug-of-war, and traditional wrestling. Ritual and local performances form another part of the festival.
