Azotea
A semi-abandoned house in the historic center of Mexico City, photographed early in the day when the pure morning light penetrated through the arches and broken walls of the house. The multiple gaps and dispersed objects made for an interesting play with light, colors and texture; but the best part of climbing up to the rooftop (azotea) of the Casa Cuba was the view of the neighboring buildings, habitations and monuments, all at eyes’ reach through cracks which used to be windows.
