The photo is of a family of baboons. I was visiting Shai Hills Nature Reserve in Greater Accra, Ghana, when a handful of baboons overran the dirt road we were on. The ranger encouraged us to get out of the vehicle to photograph and observe the baboons, at a respectful distance, of course. The two adult baboons were uninterested in our presence and continued to groom each other. Meanwhile, the infant baboon was curious about us but nervous. The infant would venture out, then run back to mom to hide and keep a watchful eye on us.
