Baby Albatross

Along the northern shore of Kauai, wild nesting albatross can be spotted before they return to the skies in July, at the end of their breeding period. Magnificently beautiful birds with a wingspan of up to 11 feet can remain in flight for up to 10,000 miles at a time. The Layson Albatross, found in Kilauea, Kauai are rendered vulnerable on the endangered species list.
