I was along the c&o canal in Maryland taking a look a a snapping turtle in the lock infront of me. But when I turned to leave, along the fence line was a baby deer laying in the grass trying to hide. I started towards him thinking he would run at any second. But to my amazement he just stayed there so I could grab a couple great photos . He was a great model!
