Baby Giraffes can stand within half an hour and after only 10 hours can actually run alongside their family. I was teaching my daughter this, when the first baby giraffe born in the Dallas zoo walked up to us. This creature standing taller than me was the same age as my daughter, but grows to teach her and others every day about the amazing animals in our world.
