Backcountry Camping at White Sands National Monument
On a roadtrip from Washington D.C. to San Francisco my friends and I stopped in Alamogordo, New Mexico to explore White Sands National Monument and spend a night camping out between the spectacular white dunes. While hiking out, we spotted the silhouette of a lone backpacker outlined against the dunes.
