Baily's Beads over Wyoming

This image was captured during the Great American Eclipse on 8/21/17. At the very end of totality, as the sun’s photosphere just began to emerge from behind the cratered edges of the moon’s profile, I snapped this shot, which shows the spectacular Baily’s Beads phenomenon juxtaposed with the still-visible orange and magenta solar flares.
