The Bakhtiari who live in the Zagros mountains, are the largest nomadic tribe in Iran. Every year they migrate to their summer pastures with their livestock in search of greener pastures. I happened to be in Ardabil when they were having their summer festival. At this time outsiders are welcomed to attend the festival and see how they live.
