A bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) surveys his surroundings from a treetop. On a tour of the Pacific Northwest, we spent two days at a bed and breakfast in Port Angeles, Washington. While enjoying the stunning grounds, we noted a bald eagle at the top of a tall cypress tree.
