Bald Eagle coming in for a snowy landing

A large congregation of Bald Eagles occurs every November on the Chilkat River near Haines, Alaska. Two to four thousand birds are attracted by a late run of Chum and Coho salmon which also brings Grizzly bears and other wildlife to share in the feast.
