This is a photo of middle-school aged basketball players at an AAU tournament in Warner Robins, Georgia. My daughter was playing in the tournament and I brought my camera to capture photos of her and her teammates. However, I was disappointed at the lighting at the facility because the frosted white glass along one wall made it very bright and difficult to capture good quality photos of the players' faces. Then I noticed the silhouette effect created along this sunlit wall and began snapping away, taking multitudes of pictures of the players' forms silhouetted against the glass. This is my favorite photo from that day because of the player on the left's flowing hair, the height disparity between the players, and the clear image of the ball in flight.
