In November 2014, my wife and I had a true bucket list experience. After exploring Istanbul, we did a side trip to Cappadocia in Turkey's interior. It's unlike any place on earth. It has an otherworldly landscape with a ton of ancient history. The region is known for its daily hot air balloon flight which fills the sky with over a hundred of these colorful objects.
