Baltis Vallis

Baltis Vallis is a 4,200-mile-long channel on planet Venus and is the longest channel in the solar system. The lava flow channel winds its way through a long row of volcanic plains that spread north to south between wrinkle ridges. The long row of plains is located a little east of center planet in the northern hemisphere. To verify this location, I matched the topography surrounding the channel on this enhanced Venus photo to that on a NASA photo of the channel.
