This is Birkat Al Mouz, a beautiful oasis in Oman where palm trees are present in every alley. This iconic village – whose name literally means “a pool of bananas” – lies at the foot of the Jebel Akhdar mountains and is home to many beautiful sights. It is an exciting starting point to begin an adventurous 4WD drive up to the Saiq Plateau on Jebel Akhdar.
