Banded
Banded: While shooting photographs of geese and swans in the Camp Humphreys wetlands, I noticed this Whooper swan with a blue band around its neck (2T77). Also noticed while it was grooming itself that it also had metal leg band on its right leg and a radio tracker attached on its back. This photograph only shows the 2T77 blue band as the swan seems to contemplate it being on its neck. I am not sure which country banded this Whooper swan as its migration path probably took it through Siberia, Mongolia, and Manchuria before reaching South Korea.
