Bands to the Corona
This emerald aurora dances above the stark white landscape of Southeastern Iceland near Kalfatellsstadhur. Moonlight usually makes the elusive Aurora Borealis too difficult to photograph. In this rare instance, the Northern Lights were brighter than the moon, which enabled me to capture these electric ribbons of green, while also providing enough light to see the foreground.
