Bangladeshi slum boys

In late June of this year, we visited a slum in Bangladesh for a photo shoot. The standard of living in Bangladesh is very low, and the residents of the slums dwell in makeshift houses constructed from plastic and paper. On a rainy day, their temporary shelters were set up on muddy ground, painting a vivid picture of their challenging lives. Two boys sat on a dilapidated bicycle in front of their home, and in their eyes, I couldn't find a hint of the joy that should accompany childhood.
