These tombs are located near the town of Bat in the Sultanate of Oman. These stones date to around 3000 B.C. The Bat Tombs were added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1988. These sites have been worked over by archeological teams from many countries, including Germany and Denmark. There is still much to be discovered at this site.
