You are you. Be you, be yourself. Many people see Hyatt Regency Embacadero as just another hotel in one of San Francisco’s tourist destination, Embacadero. However, after studying 6 years of architecture and urban design, I saw the Hyatt Regency Embacadero not just a hotel, but as a precedent for hotel-design. Designed by John Portman, Hyatt Regency Embacadero is not only an architectural landmark but also an urbanist’s heaven because of the multiple systematic layers from street level to city level.
