Beach Time in the Age of COVID

I was with my youngest son at Ocean Beach in San Francisco a couple of months after the COVID-19 shutdown. Being at the beach while wearing a mask is far from normal, but it's become the norm. The image of a young child looking like he's in quarantine while playing at a public beach is so completely opposite from the traditional image of a young child at the beach, that I took a series of shots to capture the strangeness of it.
