Bear with Salmon
The US Forest Service maintains a viewing platform and hiking trail along Anan Creek in Alaska. If you are lucky enough to secure one of the 60 daily permits, you can spend half a day watching bears feeding on salmon and bald eagles in flight. The viewing platform has a water-level blind where this photo was taken. This bear had just snatched the salmon from the fast flowing stream and was headed to dry ground to feed.
