Bearded bellbird calling
This is a uncommon and famed bearded bell-bird which came unusually close, yet fairly high on the tree, to our group on the grounds of Asa Wright Nature Center. It was calling back and forth with another bellbird close by. This is first time I saw the beard this clearly and heard the boink, boink calls of this magnificent bird.
