Beautiful Sesiidae on Grape Leaves

An amazing bit of luck allowed me to find this wasp-mimic on some grape leaves on a mild summer day. At first look, it is strikingly similar to a wasp; however, a closer look reveals this to be a clearwing moth. This mimic even fooled my trained eye until after I looked at the photos and noticed the antennae and wing scales.
