Beautiful Toucan in Belize

This beautiful toucan is a resident of the Belize Zoo. Belize is a small, Central American country located below Mexico and beside Guatemala. This zoo is very different from the ones in the US; all the animals are native to the country of Belize, and all the animals in the zoo were rescued from an injury or from a poacher or illegal trader. Because of this zoo, animals like this toucan are able to heal and live out their lives in a safe and natural environment.
