This was taken in Japan in 2023, when two friends of mine and I were visiting the Hiroshima and Osaka areas of the country. This photo, however, was taken in Kyoto during a day trip to the city. This was a garden area by a temple and shrine that we walked through together. The woman in the photo is one of my friend Jill, who loves Japan deeply, and I loved the look of her walking on this path through the garden.
