Bebe, the mourning dove on my windowsill laid an egg
I noticed birds visiting my windowsill right outside my living room, so I started putting bird food for them in a tray. One bird became 2, than 3, which jumped to 7-9 birds throughout the day, sometimes all at once! Bebe, this mourning dove in the photo, started arriving about 2 months later; she soon came with a "partner". Within a few months, I noticed that she would not leave at night. Within a few days, I saw this beautiful egg she had hatched! The next day, another one. It was so beautiful to witness.
