Beduin woman, Petra

This photograph reflects the life of the Bedouins, Arab nomads who live in the deserts, in this case, the photograph is taken in Petra, the famous city of Jordan. This woman, like many of them, probably lives in the cave where she is sitting. The caves are stocked with cloth and wood from which they make their homes. The Bedouins are a very widespread people in the south of Jordan, especially in the desert of Wadi Rum, where I was lucky enough to live with them and their customs; to know how they cook, what they cook, their traditional dances, their way of making soap with desert plants, and many other things.
