20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Bee Feast
This was the first really enjoyable Honey Bee picture I took. Only because it is so focused on the one Honey Bee eating up the Honey with its proboscis. While they are usually flying around, when peaking inside a man influenced hive, you can watch the action.
