Beehive Basin, high in Montana's Spanish Peaks Wilderness, sits below the Milky Way on a summer night when the air is still enough to capture the reflection of jagged mountains in a small pond. I spent several silent hours taking this picture before packing up and hiking back to the trailhead. Not a bad way to spend a night in Big Sky country!
