Before my own morning madness began, I took a walk along Boston's Fan Pier in the Seaport District and saw a woman walking her dog sit down to take a rest and "smell the roses," or in this case, breathe in the salty sea air. Perhaps contemplating her day, she takes in the vast ocean spread before her and gazes out at the Tobin Bridge (a/k/a Mystic River Bridge) on the horizon. Despite the overwhelming size of her surroundings, it is a peaceful moment.
