The picture shows the landscape behind the dunes in Noordwijk, a town on the Dutch North Sea. We got lost on the way from our vacation hotel to a beach restaurant. We did not come out at the beach promenade, but were suddenly in the middle of the dune landscape. We had to take off our shoes to get ahead at all. But the landscape enthused us so much that we absolutely had to take pictures. In the dusk there was a great panorama in front of us: big and wide and quiet.
