Being the first

In April and early May, when everything is still dressed in brown colors, first flowers blooms in Amur forests. In the photo there is a white snowdrop (Eranthis stellata), breaking through a dry leaf towards the sun. The flower's pollen serves as food for hoverflies at this early time.
