Beirut has seen a very large number of demonstrations over the past 4 years. I wanted to try and put an artistic perspective as I thought this would be the best way to convey the emotions and strength behind them. It was at night and a large number of anti riot police was blocking the street under my house when a single individual walked toward them and lit a cigarette.
