This photo was taken on the third day that Baby Hannah was home from the hospital after her birth. The family's dog (Remy) became her first and best friend. He was looking over the bassinet, not leaving her side for a moment, both loving the newcomer to the family and protecting her as well. Every time Hannah left Remy's sight Remy whimpered in concern. All through the night, when Hannah's mom would get up at Hannah's slightest noise, Remy was already there with her, alerted to Hannah's sounds even before her mom was. They are best friends still (Hannah is now 10 months old)...still side by side.
