Young male Ruby-throated Hummingbird gets the best seat in the garden on which to observe the activities. This community pollinator garden was created by the Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory, at the James City Marina, James City County Virginia, (USA) 1/2 mile from the original Jamestown settlement. Numerous hummingbirds enjoy the garden's nectaring flowers and do battle with each other for sovereignty of the garden. This little guy wins for the day!
