Image of a Rainbow in Ponta Delgada. After fifteen months of quarantine, my first trip was to The Azores. The Azores is known for its temperamental weather. The day started off rainy, but later in the day the sky cleared to reveal this beautiful rainbow taken near a cliff's edge in Sao Miguel island. The journey from rain and overcast skies to a rainbow in an enchanted garden reminded my of our collective journey from the depths of COVID-19 to the glimpse of reprieve in the summer of 2021.
