In recent years I have become more and more interested in editorial-style portraiture... and this photo represents one of my latest ventures into the genre. This photo is actually one in a small series of images depicting a "work, play, after work/play" theme. For this shot, the model and I worked together to create the feeling of a city professional after having worked a long day. She is fashionable, edgy, a little ON edge, and ready to let loose. The goal of this photo was to show both what's there and also hint at what's to come. The loosened shirt, cuffs rolled up, pose and expression are all designed to play into this narrative.
