My father and I were driving up Pikes Peak, America's most beautiful mountain. The road is full of switchbacks and there are plenty of places where a car could easily roll off the side of the mountain. This photo was taken at around 14, 000 ft where the mountain touches the clouds. Bob Dyaln's "Beyond the Horizon" was playing on the radio.
