At the Texas State Fair in Dallas, Texas for decades there has been a large wooden statue over 40 feet high of a cowboy in boots. He has been named "Big Tex". A few years ago, the original Big Tex that had been at the Fair burned due an electrical issue. This is the new Big Tex and shows a close up of his boots depicting Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas!
