15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Big world. Little raven.
While hiking in Death Valley I noticed this lonely raven walking up and down the road. It looked so majestic, but still small compared to the huge mountains surrounding. This picture sums up how I felt while hiking through those massive mountains. Small does not mean unnoticed.
