Baltimore, Maryland is the home of the famous poet Edgar Allen Poe and is also a place of rich American history. When I took this shot, I had no idea the bird would fly into the photo. It definitely reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe’s Poem “A Dream Within a Dream,” where it says “Yet if hope has flown away / In a night, or in a day, / In a vision, or in none, / Is it therefore the less gone? / All that we see or seem / Is but a dream within a dream.”
