Birds and Mammals Together
Some of the old hunters around here will tell you that the whitetail deer and the wild turkeys have formed some kind of a survival bond. The turkeys have keen eyesight and the deer can smell a man a mile away. Since both also like to forage in fields, they share the space together, and each, with its ability to go on the alert, can help the survival of the other.
