A black sow bear was with its 3 cubs grazing and relaxing in the forest bed at Grand Teton national park. I captured this photograph while hiking in a trail in search of black bears. I had spotted this black bear and her cubs after a few hours of looking around. Though I was able to see the bear, it was very hard to photograph it due to the thick forest grass and fallen trees. This was the only angle from a safe distance I was able to get a head shot of the bear.
