Black Eyed Susan

This black eyed susan flower peaked my interest because of its obvious imperfections. Its petals were ragged and worn, and they looked like they had possibly been chewed by bugs. We often prize flowers most when they're in their prime, but there was something genuine and sweet about this raggedy flower as well.
