Black rhino with tattered ear

Black rhinos visually differ from white rhinos in terms of the shape of their mouths - the black one has a pointed lip equipped for browsing. This one has a tattered ear, but that is the least that could happen to a rhino like this - they are some of the world's most severely threatened animals due to poaching. This one's horns has been cut down to prevent poaching, but has partially regrown. Such an indictment on human nature that an animal as magnificent like this may go extinct in our lifetime. Location of rhinos cannot be revealed to protect the animals.
