Black Vulture Portrait
Black Vulture Portrait. We have many black vultures and turkey vulters in NJ. One morning I went outside and looked up. A black vulture was perched on the lamp post outside my door. It sat there for quite some time in the cold winter morning air. What struck me with this photo was the character of the bird. The folds of skin on its face and it’s rounded shoulders in black feathers. It reminded me of an old blad man.
